Deit has a tough match today against T.Kwiatkowski. If he beats Kwiatkowski the real test will be Quinzi in the semis.

Saw both Tai and DB in Sept at USO. Based on what I saw it is a close match. However, a lot could have changed since Sept.

Making people believe if you say things enough it will come true is absurd. I don't mind cheering the kid on, but don't like the misleading going on. Last edited by tball2day : 12-07-2012 at 02:08 PM. |

Calm down folks. The kid had a nice run to the quarters. Let's leave it at that. The important point here is that college is the right move for most highly ranked juniors. IMHO the only time a junior should think about a direct jump to the pros is when 1) he has multiple wins and final appearances at the big events and 2) his ball striking is off the charts- at or near a pro level. I don't see that with the current crop of American boys. Kudla, Sock, and Harrison were a different story. They made the right move going pro.

Nice run Brad, congrats to you and Deit! No need to get in the gutter with that guy - he already lost all credibility here, and really is the one who should be laughed off this board... Too bad he didn't make it a permanent sabbatical

Brad - Diet is doing great but the board is right - college is the way to go - at least for a couple of years - are you not at least thinking about that?

My, my ,my these are children, children with parents who love them. I've chaired a few matches for DB and he is a great kid, and I've met Brad and in person he is a gentlemen. TCF, well by reading his comments he has a personal axe to grind with Brad and that is between them, they should work it out in Privae messages and quit the sniping attacks in public threads concerned with Juniors.
Brad it is clear to me that you overreacted to an attack on you and your son. You took it too far. Two wrongs don't make it right. Man up and apologize. TCF, your in no way innocent here either, seems you owe Brad an apollogy as well. Remember gentlemen, you are adults. |
