Yeah, I'm sure his rackets are different from the retail in weight and balance.
From the pictures from Priority 1, it can be seen that long 1/4 inch strips of lead are stretched from almost 10 o clock to 2 o clock.
Say the strings are about 15 grams and also the grip counts for weight, which means on stock rackets, there's room for only 2-4 grams, which is not what is shown in Fed's actual rackets.

1/4 inch lead tape is 1/4 gram pr inch, so no problem there really.

My 6.1 tour string with gut and luxilon 4g and an overgrip with no lead tape weighs 376g.

That description runs down to a healthy chunk on this forum, and a good 30% at my local club. Not just 10 year olds.

No, that's what happens when for some reason every ball boy out there cannot hit a ball to save their lives. It's like all ball boys/girls in the world don't play any tennis. I'm sorry, but it's videos like this that brainwash you into thinking that no one can return ANY ball from a pro. It's BS, these kids just can't play or something. It's like you can't be over a 3.0 to be a ball boy or something. lol Ya, pros hit fast and hard, but they're not gods, come on...

Take a look at how it's done... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlHOCKo3kDA#t=2m35s

Nice! Fed got owned plain and simple. Now people need to stop putting pros on pedestals.

I know that I am responding to a very old thread, but James Blake's customizer is Peter Gabriel, which is not a secret, in fact a long time ago Blake's web site mentioned Peter Gabriel as his customizer, also a few years ago the Wall Street Journal wrote an article about customizers including P1, RPNY, Bosworth, and Gabriel, and listed Blake as a Gabriel client.

Really? No wonder Blake swings his racquet like a "Sledgehammer".

Default Fabfed question, what thickness are the letter inserts?

Question, those 3 leather inserts at the bottom of the racquet head, what is the thickness?

Federer been doing a Wilson 2014 shoot in Indian Wells this week. These pictures from Wilson's facebook with Federer in his Wimbledon 2013 outfit.

A pretty strategic photo, I must say. At first it may not seem like it, but you barely see the racquet he's holding (for 2014) or any real details in the design of his Wimbledon outfit - apart from it being, uh..white as expected. New PJ for 2014?

That's probably because the camera being used for professional shots is not in the same location as the one used to take that facebook pic. Not least because he would hardly be hitting a ball at the side fence.

Also re: his Wimbledon gear.. no biggie either. Other pics of him have him in the outfit - it's no great secret....

I guess the photoshop guys aren't onboard yet. Haha, come on Roger, cover up the gut when you're in for a photoshoot. You're better than that.

By the way, I'm liking the pink Vapor 9.

1 - they're ten years old.
2 - a few kid racquets have the "federer" paintjob
3 - they're just kids. cut them some slack.
