Default Sharapova rocking Vapor 9s

Here she is rocking either 2013 V9's or some new womens shoe that is modeled after the V9

I think more women should wear Vapor 9s

Here is the whole album from the /tennis subreddit.
It is an album of Sharapova and Hass training for the 2013 season.

Nike always does this; they take the top of the line Vapor for men and then adapt that to a women's shoe the following year. The shoes Sharapova and Azarenka wore for 2012 were essentially the Vapor 8.

Question

What the freck is difference between Men's and Women's shoes ? Does Women really need a shoe that is really that different than Men ? It is a shoe you play tennis in

Haha I love the word "freck"

I think there are small styling differences to make them more feminine. Like the womens vapors are a bit more shiny and have patterns or raised textures on the shoes

Yea ^ correct but there are also usually a difference in the mold they use and base it off the "average" womens foot with mods that the company decides the shoe will be aimed at for example narrow because they think more teens willbuy it -not necessarily correct just an example

Man, until I saw that last picture I thought that Haas and Sharapova were the same height.

Looks like Sharapova is using a Speed frame.
