I tried one and the SW is just too high even though I did like the 16x19 string pattern and it didn't feel as solid as the PSTGT. I am now testing out the TGK 260.2 and find that to be more substantial and solid.

The IG Radical S is probably the best frame among all the light ones out there. It's the most solid one in it's class and not many people know about this racquet.

I can give you a comparison in a week or so. I've been hitting the MG MP for a couple of months. Left one stock and put CAP grommets on the other with some lead. Just got two mint Ti MPs yesterday and will be hitting them soon. I'll let you know what my thoughts are comparison-wise.

Looking at my two new Ti MPs I cannot tell if the buttcap logo is removable to access the inside? I'm looking to add some temporary weight. I know I can try that with leather, but hoping I can just insert into the handle. Anyone know if the inside is accessible without removing the entire buttcap?

Also, I anyone has any suggested mods for the Ti MP, I'm open.

Thanks.

Just started customizing my IG Rad Pro...gonna hit with it tonight. I've got 10 grams at 3&9 and additional 25 grams in the handle. Got it to 5 points headlight and silicon in the handle. Swapped out the pallets for RPNY Wilson shape pallets. Gonna be sweet!

Among my collection is a Radical Trysis 260, a Zebra TT, two 1998 TT ( one CAPped), a Ti., two i.Rads, and a brand new Microgel, all MP's. Anyone have a setup suggestion for the Microgel? Had an IG Rad Pro, but sold it.

The buttcap logo is just a sticker on Ti.Rads (that tend to get loose and fall).
Unfortunately you need to remove the buttcap if you want to add weight inside the handle. Easier is to add leap tapes (on the pallets and under the grip).

Never heard of the 1998 Radical TwinTube being 307g. Should be around 330g. Can post a photo if the racquet in question?

Agree. Extremely underated along with the Rad OS. The Rad S can be leaded up any way you like and makes a great platform racquet. You could customize it to be an easier swinging Rad Pro.

Sure will post a picture of the racquet in question, also VS do you think there is a way to match a cut down zebra XL to the regular zebra? I cut a couple down and they are way lighter than my standard zebras

thanks in advance

I currently play with vantage frames. I have these racquets 5years now. Its hard to go back to main stream racquets, but if I did, the radical would be on my shortlist.

I'm curious, where have you put the lead on your igrp's? I recently made the switch and am trying new setups. Right now I've got 4g at 12 and 12g in the handle, but it doesn't feel quite right.

I'm really interested to hear how you successfully capped them with the mg. pp. I tried and wasn't able to get grommet 5 on the throat through far enough.

aww grommet #5 is a tough one what I did was start from the top of the racquet and work the way down to the throat. when I got to 5 and 6 they were a pain but I used an awl and pushed them in, they didnt end up much shorter than the standard grommets. so on my stick the static weight strung is 355g (wilson OG, + dampener + strings (gut)) you would probably be at around 345-347 with a full bed of poly.
my strung balance is 6 pts
i added 6 grams of (blue tack or Tungsten putty) under the butt cap the putty is easier to work with imo
and lead tape around the hoop from 8 to 4 (it is alot of weight but it is a ball crusher much more so than the old radicals imho)

How long have you had that candycane? Can I see the butt-cap? Is there a leather grip or synthetic?
