My Orange/White Elites got pretty dirty. They have a ton of lint on them. The blocks on the back has threads sticking out. The cushion is flatting out slightly. The tight fit around the arch feels great. Just to mention, i only had them for 3 days.

Personally I favor quarter length socks. I just can't do the high crew length thing. If you can get over the price Thorlo's are tough to beat on comfort. I wear them on clay and It's like walking on water.

the thing i don't like about Thorlos is that they feel synthetic and and i tend to slip a bit inside the shoe.

I want to say slimy, but slippery and synthetic is better.

I like the Thorlo level 3 socks maybe the best not just because there comfortable but because there made in America. I also like the Nike Elite Basketball socks but there not quite as comfortable.

Agreed on all fronts except for the never wear out part. I had a few pairs that I have worn over a year that are starting to thin out even though I line dry them. Also got a couple pairs that are not properly sewn and have holes in them.

Overall, they are the best socks out there given all the wonderful colors these things come in.

The socks are beautiful. I bought the white/black just to dye them yellow.

I like Prince socks...nice cushioning.

For an "big box store brand", at Target they sell HANES PREMIUM, not regular but premium and there is a difference. I have only found them at Target and they have them in black or and in white. They have a great cushion and hold up very well to the pounding of tennis.

Real tennis players do not wear ankle socks!!!
