I don't have the pictures, but I believe they're on the 6th paint job of the Pure Drive.

I used to own the top most version in that pic (the one before cortex, i think it was the pure drive team line). in the youtube clip, they have the swirly version. were there any more or only just 5 different releases?

To Daniel or anybody else, do you know how many versions of 27.5" Pure Drives there are?

I've read the thread in the Classic Racquets section and elsewhere, and gathered some conflicting info... One example was that somebody claimed there was no first-generation extended-length racquet, and others saying there were.

I'm stuck at 5 generations, and would like to know so I can complete my collection:

- PD Swirly +
- PD Team +
- PD Cortex + (also the first Roddick model introduced)
- PD GT + (2nd-gen Roddick)
- PD GT + 2012 (3rd-gen Roddick)

Thanks in advance!

There was also a 125th year Anniversary Edition from what I have ran across in the past. I believe beside the first two Anniversary Editions, the "Test Cordage" racquets are among the rarest, which I have tucked away!

So does the newest one have an 'inverted' cortex? I wonder how that changes the dynamics of the air flow over the laminar construction

Haha. Yes... It causes the racket the shake like a leaf due to the uneven air flow. They're fixing it in the next gen. lol

Good to hear, I guess they'll install spoilers over the surface of the frame to interrupt air flow at critical times.
