To me the Donnays have a unique feel to them and are not like anything else on the market. The best feeling Donnay I have hit with is the Red 94. The Pro One's ball feel isn't as sweet/unfiltered, but it's still very Donnay.

quality control is questionable, given the disparity of the stated parameters and barcode

Had my first hit with my Pro One(97 16x19) XL. Wow, what a great feeling. It's a bit head heavier then my Pure Drive +'s, so I will still have to get adapted to it but I have never hit this easy as with this stick. Thumbs op Donnay!

I finally pulled the trigger on two matched P1s (16 by 19). I'm just so amazed at how much better I'm playing. I beat one of the best 4.5s in the city in our last team match. Hoping for more success and barring injury (sucks being 42), I feel a great spring singles season coming on.
As far as string, I can't find anything better than Tour Bite 16L. And, I like this stick with the 5g buttcap the best. This racquet does have some qualities of the PS90 (it has plow and all court capability unlike the Rad Pro (has plow but just yuck at the net)..).

Thinking about trying out the P1 (both versions). How do the grip sizes compare to Babolat's?
I've seen comparisons to the regular pure drive. Anyone have xp w/ the Pure Drive roddick? |

I heard Donnay is in some financial trouble and that's why they don't have any rackets coming out in 2013. Does anyone know anything about this?

Not every brand has new models each year. The had the Pro One and Formula Pro in 2012. Which are both great frames.

Yes, welcome to the club. The grips are abit more rounded than the Head's.

I don't think many of us P1 users give a crap, we've all probably stocked up on sticks and grommets, LOL It will be sad if they are already in trouble, tennis fans don't want to see Donnay bite the dust twice!

flat hitters using the P1 - are you using the 16*19 for a bit more spin potential or did you go to the 18*20

Hey guys I'm considering getting a pro one, for a doubles player ( serve in volley game ) what would be better the formula 100, the pro one 16 x 19, or the 18 x 20 ( I'll demo no matter what but just looking for opinion )
