Default Wilson Gut question

I know that Wilson Gut is produced in France by Babolat and literally is exact copy of VS Gut. But if Wilson Gut the same as current VS BT7 or Original VS?

Thanks

Closest to original VS (without BT7). Less stiff and more feel than Bab BT7.

I have one BLX 90 racket strung with Wilson gut in the mains and another strung with VS BT7 in the mains. Tension , balance , cross string and weight of the rackets are identical. Its very apparent that the Wilson gut feels softer. Both guts have similar power. Even though the Wilson gut feels softer this does't mean its a better performer. "Feel" is subjective. One may like a firmer feeling string than another. Since my BLX 90 rackets have a muted feel to them the firmness of the VS BT7 gut is giving me more feedback at contact than the softer Wilson gut. Feedback helps with consistency.

Well, "softer" and "firmer" are too simple to describe the differences.
BT7 lost the "dynamic" nature of gut resilience, IMHO.

Try stringing Wilson gut(original VS) somewhat tighter and compare them.
You'll feel the dynamic nature of it. Bt7 also loses resilience much quicker than original VS. BT7 therefore feels and performs like synthetic multis to me. I experimented with it for 1 year and I'll never use BT7 again.

Question is, will babolat change formula for Wilson eventually or not? Should I stock up large number of Wilson gut now or not?

Yes, Babolat makes Wilson gut with the non BT7 formula. It was confirmed by vs babolat (I think?) that Wilson gut is made by Babolat, and a few sets of Wilson gut (a while back) had Babolat VS gut printed on the strings.
