Nadal is the only man ever to win slams on clay, grass and hardcourt in a Calendar Year. That occurred in 2010. And in March of 2010, Nadal was ranked #4.

Yep, that title will be the epitome of Nadal's 2013; "broken record". Nadal's 2013 will be all about history and breaking records. Imagine how embarrassing it would be by the time we get to post-Wimbledon, if Nadal will have won AustralianOpen2013, RolandGarros2013, and Wimbledon2013 and STILL not be #1 in the world. Because that's what Nadal is about, WINNING and breaking the big records. I don't think having the record for total weeks at #1 is that important, especially when someone like Wozniacki can get a significant amount of weeks at #1. All that matters is that Nadal has been there for a significant amount of time, but he doesn't need the record to be called the greatest. Whereas federer needs all the records he can get his hands on to try to retain that title...

Are you really confident or just trolling? Do you really expect him to win all three majors in a row?

Did anyone expect Nadal to win 3 slams in a row, on 3 different surfaces, all in a calendar year, while at the same time completing the career grand slam?

Oh based on 2010 right?

Federer will win AO, Wimbledon and US open this year ( based on 2004, 2006,2007)

Djokovic will win AO, Wimbledon and US Open this year (based on 2011)

Now you can see it, right?

What has Nadal's record been in the past 10 slams (excluding USOpen2012)?

W,W,W,QF,W,F,F,F,W,2R

and you're telling me Nadal has no chance of winning 3 slams in a row?

Federer's record in the past 10 slams:

QF,SF,SF,F,QF,SF,SF,SF,W,QF

Nadal and federer aren't comparable at this stage.

I liked the way you omitted Djkovic from the discussion

Clearly Nadal has the best slam record in the past 10 slams.

Oh for goodness sake, you're like a frackin broken record.

Regarding your parallel, Nadal wasn't out of the game for half a year in 2009.

But 2009 was definitely a worse year than 2012.
In 2009, Nadal lost at Roland Garros. His only loss ever!
Also in 2009, Nadal skipped Wimbledon (he was defending champion).
And in 2009, Nadal suffered his worst slam loss ever, 6-2 6-2 6-2 vs Del Potro.
And in 2009, Nadal lost all his round robin matches at WTF and didn't even win a set!

Compare that to 2012, where Nadal won Roland Garros by only dropping a set, and had his 2nd best Australian Open EVER (and in my opinion that final vs Djokovic was Nadal's best performance EVER in a loss).

We still don't know if he will play in AO, and you talk about winning the title?

What Nadal needs for a title in AO2013?

Easy draw to the semi finals

Federer in the semifinals

In the second semi-final Murray and Djokovic to destroy each other in a match that will last for ten hours, because obviously five hours this year was not enough for Nadal!

Doesn't sound very possible!

***/Rafa2005rg/130 isn't even entertaining anymore, and it will be thoroughly enjoyable to see him eat crow for the foreseeable future when all his predictions fall.

Firstly, I'm not "NSK" or RAFA2005RG, those are completely separate people/accounts. Secondly, I'm not here to be entertaining, I'm here to talk about tennis.

I would agree with this but then...

@AustralianOpen: ‘My knee is coming along okay, but a stomach virus has left me unable to get ready in time to tackle the rigours of a Grand Slam.’ - #Rafa

Just okay. In *** logic, I suppose that means 12 slams in a row now, right?

You are correct, Federer is #2 and competing for slams, while Nads is at home with a stomach ache, lmao.
