If you have a smartphone that's worth a ****, just use the normal website. I don't have any issues with it on my iPhone and actually prefer the full site instead of a mobile cutdown version of it.

4M plus counted posts and scads of "Odds & Ends" contribution, all from my trusty iPhone sidekick. I delete an icon from time to time just to make sure I don't wear out the same spot on my screen. I am working class so no Tapatalk for me.

I'm stealing this line for my own personal use if you don't mind.

If I had been drinking PBR when I read it, I'd probably have spewed forth but I had just sipped a bit of Yuengling and didn't want to waste any of the true "king of beers".

Nah...a sexagenerean who gagged on his first sip of Milwaukee's "best" years before current PBR hipsters were gagging on mothers' milk. I was primed on German brews from my Army brat days in K-Town...ever had a Pirminator???

There is only 1 beer on the planet worse than Milwaukee's Beast and that is Meister Brau. I could not finish the whole beer and neither could a friend of mine.

Trying out Tapatalk at the moment, seems pretty good. I'd normally just load the forum on my phone's browser, but that was a bit fiddly sometimes.
Send to have gone well...

The aforementioned brew is made by Parkbrau in Pirmasens, Germany. It is a doppelbock with kick...probably not imported due to its high alcoholic %, taking it into the "malt beverage" category. My intro to it was during Oktoberfest in an outdoor tent on a coolish Palatinate night. It wasn't poured in anything but 1L steins and, as the child is father to man, one wasn't gonna be enough! I'll spare you the details of my rendered behavior as a fifteen-year-old neophyte...funny but not so pretty is as far as I'll go! Put it on your bucket list to get to the cathedral of good times...Germany during Oktoberfest cannot be duplicated! BTW, JR...I go way back re: LI tennis scene...my roomie in Port Washington was a teaching pro on the old Phipps estate in Old Westbury and I was thick with Goody Lee who was the Crazy Eddie of tennis goods in the 70's/80's. Any contact with these or other longtimers in Nassau County???

Natural Ice anyone or the Dog Urine of beers, Golden Draft....but who turns down $4.99 for a case at that age? Honestly, I'd take the beast over either of them happily.
