Just found this video of the Hopman Cup:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gohWZy_0hDE Doesn't look like a Yonex to me. |

Nah I don't think it looks like a yonex either. Maybe back to his old head? His sister uses Babs so anyone's guess at this point.

I wonder if Yonex decided to break the contract after seeing and hearing all he did last year which was embarrassing to Yonex to have a player sponsored at gold price to be worth it of nothing.

Buttcap looks like a Head (white with black insert).

Head racquet - as pointed out by Midguytennis and uk_skippy.
I wish Yonex would drop Tomic. An overated, rude player. He hasn't won anything and acts like a super tennis star. Last edited by Automatix : 12-28-2012 at 05:12 AM. |

My mistake. He was saying earlier this year how the yonex suited him

it might be the same frame as Tsonga's.
sort of PST PSLt or new mold after a second look: oval not straight(stringjob illusion) Head 1st Bet Last edited by niktub : 12-28-2012 at 04:08 AM. |

Would like to see him return to Head, the Radical always seemed like a pretty good fit for him and I don't think the racket change helped him.

If anything happened, it is Yonex that dropped him, no results because of his work ethic, nothing to do with the racquet, anybody can play very well with Yonex, I just switched to the 89 tour from Pro Staff 85 that I used for a long long time and I think Yonex is a way better racquet. Anyway, Tomic has been mocked everywhere, even in Australia, his home country, I would not doubt if yonex decided to end the contract eralier because of last year's embarrassment. I think He is darn good player, but definitely not a slam champion. |

Sorry, didn't notice that.
All fixed now. Quote:
What I mean is... his parents are from Yugoslavia, he was born in Germany and was 3 years old when they migrated to Australia (?). Everybody loves a champion and this kid can play but his attitude not to mention his fathers' attitude makes me wonder how is he regarded in Australia? |

On a side note, do I hear Tomic maturing? Talking about "learning his lesson."
