Sorry, losing a GS final is not scrooed, sitting one out is.

I love how we all assume Fed, Nole & Murray are automatically in the semis and no huge upsets could happen in R16/QF. That's how great these guys are.

I just meant Fed won't win. When you don't play you neither win nor lose obviously. That's another matter.

Especially sitting one out when it is not by Nadal's choice!

It's like there are 2 tours - the top 4 and everyone else and it's been this way for 3-4 years now.

So were you actually there training with him? Or are you just like every other idiot in this section, making broad assumptions about X players like you're their siblings?

I mean, people here certainly wouldn't post things without facts right?

I tend to think that Novak will win it. I think that Murray would beat Fed if he played him in the SF.

I think the weather can be a factor, it can get real humid. We all know that a roof is Fed's ace in the hole.

I still think that Novak is the guy to beat at the AO no doubt about it. But when Nole sees Fed across the net, doubt creeps in.

GO GO ROGER. This is a chance to win one more slam.

He doesn't have to break a leg, Murray was close to taking him out last year, and with his confidence higher now he will beat Djoker in the semis, and then Fed will beat Murray in the finals.

Pathetic attempt at jinx

I thought Roger won his last AO in 2010

He won it after his last great pre-AO training block in Dec 2009.

Not at AO it wouldn't threaten Novak facing Fed. That's laughable at this point.

If Djokovic has a gruelling 5-setter with Murray in the SFs and meets an in-form Roger Federer in the final, I'd like Fed's chances. Otherwise I see it as a routine win for Djokovic.

Then again, you can't ever say anything for certain, and Fed always has a chance. I'll be bold and say Fed upsets Djokovic in 4.

People talk about just the sets he lost. It wasn't that one sided, their last match.

Roger lost the first tie break, he could have won it. Second set he was 5-2 leading and still he lost. In third set it was 6-4. It was really close irrespective of whether Roger got a set or not.

It's funny when you see people talk as if Roger has absolutely no chance.

I do accept that Novak Djokovic is the favorite to win AO
