No he didn't injure himself he played the mixed doubles after that, though they lost that one.

And after that, people will say Djoko is not popular... Look how eager they are to get his autograph. I only know 2 occurrences of this: in Miami for Nadal and now Perth for Djoko. Fences broken by the fans's passion. How moving (literally )
