I think The pictures were from nike promotional pictures. Unfortunately actual production shoes is slightly different. It's very common. Often sample shoes are different than actual production too.
Probably whoever create the copy he/she tried to show up photo shop skills too much then changed the design whatever he/she like or the shoes might be fed's usual custom design shoes.

Yes, the promotional imagery provided by Nike is incorrect. The image of the shoe we show on the Nike shoe page is more accurate.
