Anyway I voted Rosewall since he is the most underrated all time great IMO, although obviously it is really probably Laver or Gonzales.
Seems pretty straight forward to me... everyone voting can choose who they think. Perhaps it's a foregone conclusion because it is just that decisive in reality. Besides, I'll bet if you polled all living tennis legends, Federer would win that poll just as decisively. Now what might that tell you?

.. And Fed and Sampras rounding it out in the 4th or 5th spot?
29 votes so far. None of them to Laver

With all due respect to Lendl, Connors, Agassi...they are not in the GOAT discussion at all, and shouldn't be compared to the other players who are a tier ahead in this poll

The people recognize greatness when they see it. Fed's the obvious favorite.

I'm positive having a public polls all over the internet Fed would still win. Because most fans believe he's the goat, not just on this forum.

Only Fed haters and idiots think that the truth of Fed being GOAT only exists on TT. How stupid can some people be?

If he was able to keep it together mentally, this guy would be the GOAT:

This and other threads are proof that 2% of the posters (*******s) make 90% of the noise in this forum because of insecurities.

Hehehehehehehehehehe. I've been waiting for him ever since I started this poll. Soon as he comes online, you'll have Nadal's poll numbers go up from 3 to 10 in a minute!

My dad swears by him...

A 1999 Sports Illustrated article about the magazine's 20 "favorite athletes" of the 20th century said about Gonzales (their number 15 pick): "If earth was on the line in a tennis match, the man you want serving to save humankind would be Ricardo Alonso Gonzalez."
The American tennis commentator Bud Collins echoed this in an August 2006 article for MSNBC.com: "If I ha'd to choose someone to play for my life, it would be Pancho Gonzales".

Whoever is the GOAT is debatable and inconclusive. But no poll which has Laver at 0 and Federer at 29 can be taken seriously.
