Default Help indentify unknown tennis string reel

The strings are white, unmarked and not-textured. When looking into the string, the circumference is white like the outside, but the rest is clear, so it kind of looks like the string is hollow, but it's not. Have any ideas? Need any more info?

Thank you for your help.

It would help if you told us where you received the strings from maybe. It looks like to me just some synthetic gut. Have you played with it yet? Try stringing up a racquet with the strings and give some feedback on that if your able too.

My guess would be a wilson string like extreme octane. It seems wilson uses that particular reel to hold the strings

Can it still be a Wilson string if the string is unmarked. Usually they have the name of the string on the string itself, right? I got it at a thrift store. I'm looking to sell and buy the strings that I personally use, but I don't know what this string is.

Thrift shop string?
There is little point in identifying it unless you love it and want more.
I doubt that it's any better than other, readily available, cheap synguts.

The description matches Nvy as does the reel, but it's marked up down and all around. As fortun8 said, unless you really want more of it, it's not a useful exercise.

is that common, that there is no name on the string?
seems, that would make it easier for the less-than-honest amongst stringers to present a cheap string as a more expensive model.

Well, his description is exactly that of a solid core synthetic gut. Unless he said it was some super multi, it would hard to pass off on any player actually wanting a high-end multi.

my question was more of a general nature. i´m assuming that lots of players can´t tell the difference of, for example, a pricey luxilon poly versus a cheap imitation just by looking at it. me probably included.
i would think it to be in the best interest of string producers to put the name on the string

Only reason I can think of to not have markings is if it was some kind of prototype/demo/playtest reel that wasn't intended for consumers.
The racket companies send out rackets without the final paint jobs as demos. I assume a string company did the same.

im not sure if i can say that is stamina for sure, it looks to be coated with some kind of substance, stamina has a duller look, and im actually holding some stamina right now at my store, Stamina has the same spiral texture but doesnt have that kind of shine, cant say what it exactly is but it seems to have a coating on it, but guessing its just a syn gut/multi with a coating for added durability, dont see it being a really high end multi because there would be no want for the thick looking coating.

Few polys are imprinted.
Perhaps the ink doesn't adhere well?

I know for sure that the red version of Kirschbaum ProLine II is marked but not sure about the black version.
