Yeah, like there is no difference between the coach/uncle of a top player is giving out a statement like this in the media and the scenario where a casual anonymous fan says something on a message board.

Would you defend Nadal the next time one of your ilk wishes for his death, career ending injury, or for him to get attacked like Monica Seles? I seriously doubt it. You would be right in there with them cheering them on. What Toni said is very mild compared to some of the filth and sheer lunacy I have seen on here posted by The Bretheren.

In case you missed it: It's really a misquote. He said "I trust" they get injured, joking, saying basically it's what they'd need to get back on top (in essence putting down their chances).

If anything, it could be some slight dissing of Murray that he didn't include him.
