Nice glib answer, but factually incorrect. The dollar is actually stronger in comparison to the Japanese Yen and Indonesian Rupiah (the relevant currencies based on the products COO) year over year. So, currency exchange rates are not the cause of any price increase in this case.

With the flood of competitive products over the past couple of years you'd think Yonex will have to keep prices in the same ballpark. There are lots of really good options now -- heck I remember when the choices were gauze grip tape and Tournagrip. The gauze is still my favorite for dripping wet, ultra humid conditions.
