Default Wilson Pro overgrip and Yonex Supergrab price

Not to be picky, but I noticed both of these overgrips got a small price raise. What's up TW?

Nice glib answer, but factually incorrect. The dollar is actually stronger in comparison to the Japanese Yen and Indonesian Rupiah (the relevant currencies based on the products COO) year over year. So, currency exchange rates are not the cause of any price increase in this case.

He's looking at USD prices which got higher because the dollar got cheaper. I didn't say anything about currency exchange rates.

If the dollar "gets cheaper" it is in relationship to foreign currencies, Einstein.

Yes, it may very well be the result of increased input costs, or simply Yonex's arbitrary decision to charge more.

A year or two ago the 30 pack Supergrap price went up $5 then came back down again a few months later.

With the flood of competitive products over the past couple of years you'd think Yonex will have to keep prices in the same ballpark. There are lots of really good options now -- heck I remember when the choices were gauze grip tape and Tournagrip. The gauze is still my favorite for dripping wet, ultra humid conditions.
