i sat front row for her match against Laura Robson yesterday, it looks like a prestige mid under the paint, no CAP on show though.

this might sound silly, but it sounds like a prestige, too, that solid crack they make when you hit it hard..

Robson was rocking one of the new Blades, looked brilliant but seemed prone to UEs on the FH..

It's not a Prestige Mid. She has a different mold now. Her new frame has grooves in the throat bridge. The Prestige Mid does not, it's flat (no groove in teh throat bridge). Sloane is now really rocking the YT Radical MP 16x19.

During the Microgel era, she used the TGK 237.1. But last I saw her racquet, it was the same model that Rainer Schuttler used, which was the TGK 237.4.

Same stick as McHale then.

When will they make a 16X19 for the masses?

Yes.
Have you tried the IG Radical Pro? Its the same mold as the MP now with a 16x19 string pattern but just a touch heavier.

Greg Raven took down her specs last year in Carlsbad:

340 grams
31.6 cm
330 swingweight

Wonder if her new Radical has the same specs.

The head shape of the IG Rad and Rad Pro look different to me than the old Radicals - Liquidmetal, etc. Did Head change them?

With the YouTek Radical they changed the mold but the head shape and size looks the same to me. The beam shape and the beam inside the hoop changed. The grommets from earlier Radical's still fit the YT and IG Radical MP.

By shape I thought you were talking about beam which is not boxy now,
but head shape is the same size of course just as vs said.

Thanks VS, dgoran

TW University takes measurements of head width and beam thickness. You can access the info in the "spin window" section of this tool: http://twu.tennis-warehouse.com/cgi-...ker.cgi#output

They've got the IG Rad and I Rad Pro as being almost 1/4" narrower in the head than the Liquidmetal Rad at 10&2. Comparing photos it kind of looks that way to me too. Could be bad data and my eyes could be deceiving me.

I would be surprised if she went from 237.2 (not .1) which is Mid 16x19, to, as you claim 238.4, which is 18x20 MP, back to 16x19 237.4 to what appears to be 260.2 which is 16x19 Rad MP.

I highly doubt it...
