I really like Yonex. (And Rossignol, and Head, and Völkl, and Donnay, and Fischer etc...) Here's a picture of almost all of the Yonexes I've got at the moment. I know there's an SRD tour 95 missing, and probably an RD10 Power long.

I've several of your collection that came with a bunch of older rackets. I think I have about 15 yonex rackets dating from the 80's up until 2005.

Any of these the oval-headed ones instead of the usual rectangular head?

How do you like them? Any favorites of the bunch? There's a monolitic solidness to some of those old Yonexes.

Could be the isometric headshape or the crappy stringjob. I will take one out once more to try. Which model has this "monolitic solidness" about it? Maybe it's amongst the bunch.

Yeah, I really like the aforementioned frames; SRD Tour and RD-7. Beautiful racquets and very nice to play with. Both are on my top-10, including all brands.

Thanks Dino
I haven't ever hit with the SRD. The RD7 - I can understand why it's at the top of your list - really gorgeous stick.

I know there is a RD-7 amongst the lot.
I'll restring it and let the club pro play with it first next Thursday. We play every thursday night and I always bring a few classics for him to fool around with. He was very pleased with an R-70 and RD 10 Long. He asked me to bring some more Yonex rackets to try out, the RD-7 will be next.

Strung it up with Discho Black Mamba Penta for the mains and Polystar Energy on the crosses.

The 70? Nope, but I've always wanted one. I fear it plays too stiff for my liking, but it's a beautiful racquet.

Looks like you're missing a Super RQ 300? Check out the "for sale" forum... wink, wink!
