We'll have to do it some time CB!

40+ is supposed to be the age...not the distance! hahahaha!

I think I want to play tennis again!

However I have no racquets. Can one be so legend that he doesn't even need a racquet to play? Or is it the opposite ..I need 14 plus matched racquets to be a legend on the court (..of opinions).

So time to demo, but honestly it's three racquets I seem to want.

- Wilson steam 99s. Anyone hit with it?
- aeropro-
-babolat pure drive:- topaz you've owned both. Can you compare?

Any other choices seem worthwhile? Bueller? Anyone?

For me, the PD just felt more comfortable...the switch was all about feel. I did sacrifice spin.

I sometimes think about going back. But overall very, very happy with the PD.

Have you tried string setups or tension set ups. If I want more spin from non aeropro racquet I start pointing my racquet head down during the forward swing. Any swing under the knee area helps me. But I'm no Bolivian necktie!

What strings are you using now? Pd peeps here seem to love genesis black magic or typhoon.

If you are legendary just show up with god's racquet from the Prince commercials.

Didn't drak hit with the 99s?

One of my hitting partners switched to the PD, I've had thoughts of giving it a try again at times.

Personally I also like the Head Speed sticks.

Jrs,

There is a tennis store down here that has it on their racks.

How about a wooden spoon? Or a rusty car antenna .

Demo the new pd and tell me what you think.

if anyone does hit with the 99s, I'd like to hear if the racquet feels polarized?

Just got my 3rd NYC from RPNY. Going to play it near stock. Only minimum lead on 12 and 6 and bridge. Even enticed to just put some heavy tape on the bumper guard.
you had one shipped from their shop in ny?

u got any 99s in ur shop? its going to be on the 60's this weekend. thinking about taking one out for a spin. (no pun intended)

spent 2 hrs last night getting the new stick ready. Put minimal lead on 12/6/Bridge + 2 overgrips. Total weight comes out to be 11.2 oz.

Cop'ed out of using Prince Beast, trying Weiss Cannon Supercharged/ OGSM 17g. Just bouncing thw ball off my palm seems like it has a crunchy feel. yum!

Swings very fast now. Can't wait to try a semi-western FH with this stick.

Thanks Paulman.
Downs: Any polarization? Did it felt like that juicy fruit? I never got used to that racquet because it seems like alot of weight was put ont he head to get that swingweight.

Plaka grill gyros are the bomb...been too long! Im up for a twmac trip there any time! Goin outaide to hit blxpro, igspeed, & vcore89 again. Sigh...cant decide

Maybe demo new speed pro and blade98 and start over. tuff life!

---
After another test...think ill just keep my blxpros and sell everything else. Sure they each do some things well... But a) blxpro is cheapest b) is easiest to use and c) can be deadly if im playing well
I tail weighted it and now my backhand feels better too. Good enuffz!

Just have to play more like Moya rather than Hewitt or Djoker!

Ashley Harkleroad as a commentator makes me want to stick a fork in my eye. And my ears.
