I think it's a disease, each time I travel (London or Paris mostly) I cant resist bying shoes...
Nice! I've got quite a few myself EG's being my favorite but boy are they pricey.

They were on sale last week. I saw them on jeremyn st london.
Those I wanted cost 875 pounds and were not on sale.
So I bought Church's instead, they had 1 model my size on sale. 250 pds. A very good deal

If not EG I go with Crockett & Jones benchgrade, very good shoe for about half that of EG.

Yeah I also visited their shop, they're all on jermyn st actually
I thought of the handgrade models at C&J but it's really 2 steps under EG and Weston in terms of quality
Church's might be only 1 step under imo

There are collections you'd be proud to show to visitors to your home....and there's the collections you'd be embarassed to show.

Shoes are an ongoing infatuation for me as well. I kicked the bball/classic shoe itch for a year or so vacating about 80% of what I accumulated. Suddenly I find myself all caught up with derbies, brogues, and captoes.

Tennis shoes I've surprisingly kept under control so far. Usually 1-2 pairs is just what I need.

A friend of mine was a huge Sampras fan and about 12 years ago he bought 15 pairs of Oscillates and ten Wilson racquets like Pete used. He even patterned his game after Pete and was doing Pete's ticks, like wiping sweat from his brow with one finger and the same motion. He was a decent 4.0 player, probably would have been better if he just was himself on court instead of being Pete. )

Only 15 pair? He must have been some kind of halfass bandwagon fan.
