Full bed of MSV HEX
Just tried it last night on my K90 @50lb. It's surprisingly soft and got pretty nice feel. I didn't put on the usual rubber band and didn't feel any strong vibration at all.
Great string. Just wonder how long it would last. |

It lasts quite a while for me, even after it goes "dead" it still plays well. At least 15 hours of play unless its really warm weather.

I saw about 15-20 hours or so then the control, crispiness and spin dropped off. But freshly strung and some hits to let it settle in it plays real nice thereafter.

I used to use it in the crosses. I felt tension wise it was great. Lasted me 2-3 months. Also thought the white strings played softer, at least my arm felt this way.

A few years ago I loved to hit flat. A friend had a bunch of MSV Hex and I thought it would be fun to try. Hated it as a flat hitter. Love it now as a top spinner!

Stringing any poly low (under 50) will usually keep it tension longer, than stringing it above 55 lbs, and it's much easier on the arm.

Just finished hitting today thought i'd report back. It's amazing @ 48 lbs, takes a couple minutes to get used to but once you do the comfort and response along with the crazy spin you get off the stringbed is addicting and very comfortable. Esp without a dampener. I would say go for it! Also, it has a lot of power on tap, but controllable power.

15-20 hours full bed performance life is INCREDIBLE!
 It's for that kind of reason (I didn't realise it could last that long), as well as what I recall as being lots of spin and pop and not overly stiff feel, that made me buy a few sets of this to check out again. BTW, interesting to hear the white plays a bit softer maybe.

swore by kirshbaum pl2 1.15 for years then wanted to save some $ without performance loss... been using MSV focus hex 1.18 @54 lbs. in my bab. apd for about a year--i'm totally sold and may even go down in tension to 52ish for starters. i'm a spinmeister-type player, so may even try 49ish...

Will be checking out full bed MSV this week in a supposedly fairly powerful frame which I wasn't quite getting the big oomphy spinny performance I was expecting - and that's with 3 previous string-jobs. Shall report back.
