Has anyone hit with this frame? It's reasonably cheap to buy in the UK and I'm quite tempted to make the purchase but wondering whether anyone has any experiences with the racket? Im not too sure whether it has been released in the US? I noticed that Henman was using this frame the other week at the ATP masters in the Albert Hall; it appears that Jamie Murray and Ross Hutchins also use the frame (albeit probably all use paint jobs).
Many thanks in advance. |

There's a v100 as well. These racquets are stylish with better balance points than Dunlops - less hl.

So is it pretty much the same racket as the F3.0 Tour but different balance? (the V98 Tour that is)?

One blurb:
The Slazenger V98 AeroTour Tennis Racket is a new frame from this Great British Tennis brand. Packed with technology it has a 98sq. inch head and is 305g in weight un-strung, making it a perfectly balanced racket for good club players through to advanced. The head of the Slazenger tennis racket is designed with an Aerodynamic Profile, allowing for a faster swing speed and better all round manoeuvrability, this then combines with the 18x 20 string pattern and 22mm beam to give exceptional control The V98 has a unique Squoval (Square & Oval) frame cross section in the shaft, providing ultimate power and control, coupled with phenomenal amounts of spin. The Aero range all feature a 15% wider more elliptical head shape increasing the sweet spot of the racket and more evenly distributing string distribution to provide greater power. The frame is constructed with 100% premium graphite, Slazengers premium 3K Carbon. This construction features a blend of undirectional and braided carbon, offering an optimal strength to weight ratio with excellent shock absorbtion properties. This improves stability and increases racket to ball feel. The Slazenger V98 Tour Racket is used on the ATP Tour by Top British tennis players Jamie Murray & Ross Hutchins. |

No one's hit these? If they are the UK version of the Dunlops, they might be a decent bargin...
Seems like they would leave plenty-o-room for customizing. Last edited by Squidward : 01-17-2013 at 12:49 PM. |

These show up when using TW's compare feature. I wonder if TW will be stocking them.

There are no prices up, but the brand should be at least the same price and probably cheaper than Dunlop.

I have two of the Team V98s coming. Same as the Dunlop M3s. Sent to me by a friend in the UK.
