Hit for about 15 minutes this morning and it was a bit unwieldy (although very good at making things go fast). So I clipped a bit of lead off of the head, and it was absolutely perfect.

Came through the hitting zone nicely, serves timed nicely, (didn't reach full extension too soon) and still volleyed well (maybe not quite as good as the first guess, but far better than the second which wobbled too much).

Thing is mint, my 5/8 one should be in next week, and I'll string it up a bit looser than this one.

Well, I modded out the prototype, and bought one, and mere hours ago gave the one I bought to Tom Martinez to match to the prototype.

So I will have one complete custom frame.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I am sporting a new frame now.

Double main break after 1.5 hours of hitting.

I now have 1 freshly strung k90, and one about to break left in my bag.

It is January, and I am running out of racquets, 6 should be enough for the winter.

Even if I don't switch to the prestige full time maybe I can use it in practice against people who I don't need action on my ball against.

But then I guess I wouldn't hit as hard against them, and wouldn't break strings/frames.

Looks like I might have to become a serve and volley player.

Which wouldn't be a bad idea if I could serve or volley.

Indeed I have seen it. In most all its iterations over the years I have seen it! My second favorite frame of all time. Probably the frame with which I serve best.....or at least most nastily/accurately. 18x20, I presume?
