Default Big deal to on grip size to build up 1/4 to 3/8?

Curious on buying a 1/4 vs a 3/8. I typically go 3/8 but would a 1/4 be any issue? Seems easy to build up and it's not like I have don't have large hands anyways.

IMO it is. You'd either have to double over grip or use that heat shrink sleeve. I just think it would be too much of a hassle. I would try to get the size that I prefer the most and stick with it.

Also building up too much creates a loss of bevel feel.
