Default With his 1st Round Win...Federer

With his 1st Round Win, Federer has won 64 matches at the Australian Open.

He now has 3 of the top 10 most match wins at a Grand Slam. Only Jimmy Connors has 2 of the top 10 most match wins at a Grand Slam.

It's scary that Federer has more FO wins than Nadal, the king of clay and delay.

jimmy connors has so many wins. it's because he played for so long. anyone know why he had such a long career? no family commitments? interested to know.

I think it was because he hit the ball flat. same as rosewall and now kimiko. less energy consumed, less arm stress, fewer angles allowed, less running, keep it deep, wait for the short ball, and approach or kill it.
