Ugh. I hope he doesn't get the usual "gamesmanship" accusations. There's obviously a lot going on with that hand!

Janowicz playing like crap today. Groundstrokes not nearly as good as he is capable of.

I haven't seen enough of him to know, but his return game has been dreadful really.

Ferrer, Almagro, Verdasco...give them time and the spanish topspin just takes over. Janowicz not solid enough from the back court.

If he could play just a few percentage points better today he'd have at least one of these first two sets. He's got a long way to go, but I think he's got so much potential.

I've got to be up in a few hours so I guess I'll have to go to bed hoping JJ can pull off another comeback.

This.

In first set he was crying to umpire about JJs 25 sec. rule while Jerzy was waiting with serve because of wind. Ultra ******bag.

That's what I'm talking about. Dropshot craftsmanship. I'll take that, serve and volley, aggressive net game, power, etc etc over a one dimensional topspin game any day.

I got good money on Almagro to take this in 4 sets or less

What a pathetic miss by Janowicz. He hit a forehand like 20 feet long.

His serve is top notch and his movement is extremely good even though he is 6ft 8. The rest of his game is not impressive.

JJ's got game and most likely get better but Alamgro's too solid for him. Mentally Almagro is far superior. No match. Good learning experience for JJ tho.

This match was over two days ago, before it even started. That's what happens when you play without tape.

I have been watching this match for the past 2 hours. Perhaps you haven't been watching it closely. Janowicz has won only 42% of his second serve points. Almagro not only dismantled Janowicz from the baseline, he has also out-served him.

Almagro hits very flat ball to me.
