Default Does Tennis Channel not have live access to the Aussie Open?

Why am I watching 'Best of 5', 'Signature Series', and other repeats instead of live Aussie Open 2013? Does anyone know why this might be? Did Tennis Channel not secure rights for live coverage of the AO? Am I missing something?

Confused :S

So sad. Not long ago they were "The Home of the Slams".

ESPN has coverage of the AO. On ESPN2 right now.

Tennis Channel has coverage from 7-9, then ESPN2 takes over.

I see. That's good news! (I barely have any other channel on so I didn't even think to check When I signed up for AT&T telly I' pretty sure the Tennis Channel brochure said they have access to all four slams plus most of the other tournaments. I probably should've checked for an asterisk!

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have my caffeine fix in the afternoon this week ;P

ESPN is the lead broadcaster for the AO, they share their rights with Tennis Channel, so ESPN gets to dictate the schedule. When ESPN goes off the air, TC will come on the air with replays, and they get a few hours of live coverage each day.
