Tsonga surprises me here. Form is pretty solid right now. He can go farther.

A lot of people joining the tsong-a-long!

I hope my pick doesn't blow a gasquet.

Gasquet is the overwhelming favourite playing an opponent who, on paper, is significantly inferior and who just played a five-setter. There's no reason Gasquet should lose this.

In other words, Day 6: Tsonga

Sometimes it's better to err on the safe side. It might also be related to Gasquet burning lots of people in the past at big SDL events (myself included). Tsonga might win another round or 2, but he has a pretty rough draw and is unlikely to get much further than the QFs if he needs to face Fed-Murray-Djoker in that order (as it currently stands).

Ha ha! Although both are French so let's hope they don't go the way of Marie antoinette .............

You think Gasquet's losing to Dodig?

I know Dodig beat Nadal, but he was in different form then than now, and it wasn't at a grand slam. A Grand Slam's a whole different world.
