Default Jason: SFX vs GR5

Hi! Do you prefer the Babolat SFX or the Asics GR5? And why? Which one is more comfortable? Thanks.

Good question. Tough question. I'm going to have to go with the Babolat SFX. Mainly on the fact that I haven't worn the GR5 shoes that much. However, I've always been a huge fan of the Gel Resolution line.

I choose the SFX for the following reasons: they fit my feet better (wider, lower arch), the cushioning is plush but responsive, supportive and stable.

Now, I might have to change my answer once I hit in the GR5s more, but for now, I'll stick with the SFX.

Yeah. I will get back to you in two weeks and ask you again. I myself was trying to determine between buying the SFX, the Adidas Response or the GR4. Went with the GR4 mainly because of the sale price of $79.99. I hope they fit well, went half size smaller. Later on I will definitely give the SFX a try as I have flat feet like you so I suppose they should fit me well.

For now, how do the GR4s compare with the SFXs overlall?

Really good. In performance, I'd say they are very comparable. They both do a good job with support and stability. But once again, I'd say the tie breaker goes to the shoe that fits my foot shape better. Tie goes to SFX.
