Default Aussie Open R3 - Simon [14] vs. Monfils

If you are free for 5-10 hours you should definitely spend them enjoying the match of the tournament. To acquire a taste for what to expect you can check out the video below.

Truly mesmerizing. Isner/Mahut better watch out for their record.

H2H is 3-1 in favour of Simon.

Try no.

There will be nice rallies but monfils is to aggressive right now. With Simon hitting a lot of sitters monfils can rip winners with ease

His serve is to big, hopefully he gets it better and better every match like he has been.

And the courts are way faster than Simon can handle with a big hitter.

If monfils goes out there and plays like he's supposed he can win in straight sets. But we all know he makes it are on himself.

I say monfils wins in 4 sets

As much as I like them individually, this match is a sure way to get some sleep if you have insomnia.

The best moment of their match at the AO a few years ago was when play was stopped because of some fireworks or something.

That match was legendarily bad and boring. I look forward to the sequel. It was like watching them practice.

To be honest it could end up being amazing if Monfils is aggressive and Simon is at his counter punching best.

No kidding. Simon looks like he could do a 100 shot rally easy.

I associate that with any Giles Simon matches as far as television and entertainment purposes go.

hahaha gotta love simon. he is so nasty in those cat and mouse type points. monfils should not be trying to out push or out maneuver simon. he needs to over power him

I've learned to appreciate his brand of tennis over the years. He's a very clean ball striker.
