Could be a classic. You're right.

Thrilled to see Nishikori doing well, but he has time.

Can't root against Ferru.

I thought Bagdahtis - Ferrer was going to be great. I'm skeptical.

Yeah, Nishikori beat Ferrer in 2008 US Open as a teenager.

If he didn't have that nagging knee injury, Kei could have been much better player by now...

Cool

I'm taking KNish in a long, high-quality 5-setter. Could be the match of the tourney!

Unless Nishikori has a brain cramp. Otherwise, this is going to be pretty.

It was great. Ferru played some beautiful points, and Baghy is usually very tough to beat, and a Melbourne favorite to boot.

It was just short, that's all.

Wow, Nishikori has the most visible straps and tapes on his body than anyone else in the tournament.

Right wrist, left knee, right ankle. Who knows how much more is underneath his clothes?

Indeed my brother. This could really announce his arrival.

Nishikori has already begun the match very impressively. That jumping backhand is reminiscent of Nalbandian.

Even if someone wins in 3, it's gonna be a long match.
