Unfortunately, Wilson just increased their MAP prices on several products including some strings.

well, I played uncoated one. I thought it was OK NG. Only thing was the klip loses resiliency quicker than other guts, IMHO, and that's why they are cheaper.

From my experiences, BT7, even if I lower the tension, loses resiliency quicker than the old non-bt7 ones. Old VS (or Tonic) felt like retaining resiliency until the end. That was premium quality of babolat NG I was gladly willing to pay....

I've used gut in a poly/gut hybrid for about 8 years now. I moved onto the new gut but haven't really noticed any differences. Never really concerned me.

Perhaps then just a coincidence in timing of this thread and that.

Still glad I prefer the feel of Tough Gut and stocked up on Pacific Tough when it was 31!

how long can a pack of gut last if I were to keep it unopened and on top of that in a air tight box?

A few years, easily. I have some packs that are 3+ years old, and they still string up easily and play great.

This is kinda severe inflation. Quality goes down big time but prices go up.

I started to have a feeling that we might not have natural gut made in france
any more, pretty soon.

I don't know about you people, but the thought of stringing my racquet
with the intestines of a dead cow is pretty disgusting.

I am a vegetarian, so you would have to deliver that statement
to some of your meat-eating friends.

Troll = over-used and abused term used to describe anyone
who says or does something someone else does not like.
Discussions on the internet always end with someone calling
someone else a ****, troll, pedophile or anti-semite.
*YAWN*
Jump back into the cave you crawled out of...troll.

Nope. Sorry. Usually I don't feed the troll but I can sense that you are hungry. Read the definition from Wikipedia and try to understand how I might think this applies to your first (off topic and extraneous) comment in this thread:

Troll: In Internet slang, a troll (pron.: /ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is someone who posts inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[3]

Your location is also an obvious attempt at trolling, unless you're Kim Jong Un, your chance of getting internet is very low.

Your signature suggests that you are "someone else" who I could identify with in this board.
