Default Why don't women wear shorts, too?

Aren't they more convenient and comfortable than miniskirts?

I believe that most do wear shorts (short shorts) under their skirts/dresses. Many wear shorts w/o skirts during practice.

Why skirts on top, then? I can never understand how women feel comfortable playing in whatever it is they wear.

Yeah, the skorts thing never really made sense to me. Wearing just a skirt would probably give them a freer range of movement. Why would you wear both?

If you take the sexiness out of women's tennis what are you left with?

I wish they wore something more decent and neat-looking like this.

Dunno, never tried wearing a skirt over my shorts. I imagine that most of those dresses/skirts actually permit a lot of freedom of movement. What I don't get is why some women pros wear dangling earrings when playing. Or remember the beads that Venus and Serena use to wear in their hair?

Endorsements may have something to do with it.

Some women will play tennis just to wear the outfits.

My favorite skirt is definitely the one worn by Francesca. Who is her skirt sponsor?

The tennis balls fit between the shorts (which are elastic and tight) and our leg.

How else can we carry tennis balls if we don't wear shorts under the skirt?

Sewn in pocks to skirt, school uniform skirts have this so they could also use it in tennis.

Azarenka looked great in them at the Aussie Open last year and certainly did not look like a man.
