I've worn the K-Swiss Ultrascendor shoes for years and year and they are discontinued now.
I wear these in a mid now due to having weak ankles from years of basketball and twisted ankles but don't have to have a mid. I'm just looking for a stable shoe for an aggressive all-court game. I want something comfortable and stable. Recommendations? I can get Nike below wholesale so I've been looking at their shoes but the only thing they have in stock to ship is Fed's pink shoes and I can't pull that off So for the cost reason I'm partial to Nike but would consider any brand if the comfort is there.

I wore mids for years, but switched to Asics GR4s and ASO ankle braces. I really like the GR4s, they are stable and comfortable.

I've seen the ankle braces, do they fit OK in a low top show or are they bulky and take some time to stretch the shoe on the sides? I see a lot of pros wearing those style ankle braces.

Not bulky on the sides, when I tighten my shoelaces there is a bit less shoelace left, but I won't play without them anymore. They do take some tinkering to get the brace laces right, so that they aren't digging into your foot, but once you get that figured out your ankles will feel really secure.

Do you find the need to go down a half size with the Asics? I'd reading about them running large?

The Adidas adizero cc feather II's are nice. They're super light, literally the lightest shoes I've ever worn. I just started wearing these and there way better than the Nike 2K12's I replaced.

Definitely need to try them on, I wear an 11 in other shoes, as well as the GR4s. Maybe I'm an 11.25, or part of it may be that I have a narrow heel, with a wide forefoot.

Stable? I play basically a David Ferrer type game so I need them stable to help my ankles

Fed is a stud, you don't want to see me in pink trust me. I look more like a linebacker than a tennis player
