I'm looking for a shoe similar to the Barricade II. Preferably Adidas, but I'm willing to consider others. Has anyone found a suitable replacement?

Yes. Adidas Barricades 3,4,5, and 7.

Lol funny question. But on a serious note, why replace them? Tw still carries them.

i've tried some of the other barricade versions. they don't fit me (narrow feet, low arch) well, if at all. quest01, i've heard/read good things about the feather IIs. are they designed more for my foot type? Last edited by paulcd77 : 01-21-2013 at 05:52 AM. |

Feathers have a much wider toebox than the Barricades, however I also have a narrow foot and when I tried them on, I immediatly noticed the room but nothing a little tightening the laces couldn't fix.

I liked the old Barricade II shoes from Adidas, and I see that they now have something called "Barricade Team 2"
Is that the same shoe or something different? |

Curious to hear what the OP replaced the Barricade II with, as I have the same issue. Tried the Team 2, but they were nothing like the Barricade II. Need some shoes!

I just ordered some barricade 7s to replace my barricade 2s. Interestingly, I found that the barricade 7 fit best in a 9.5 while my old barricade 2s are size 10. Has anyone experienced something similar?
I have lower arches...it will be interesting to see how these new shoes work. |

I have flat and wide feet and I've been using B7s instead of my B2s lately. But I've put in Superfeet Blue insoles and that's helped a lot with the fit. I've also gone down in size, from a 9.5 in my B2s to a 9 in my B7s. I'm looking to try the Feather IIs next.
