Federer is in good form. I think he'll get the win in 4. Having said that I haven't seen Tsonga so far.

I'm really concerned here.

I dont' like it when Federer looks TOO good early.

He can have his "off day" early and still beat guys in rounds 1-3.

But in the last several tournaments when he's been lights out early, he has his off day in the QF or SF matches and donks out.

I just don't think we can see GOATerer for 7 straight matches anymore.. which is why i'd love to see him have a horrible day early against someone he can beat with his "C" or "D" game.

He can't beat Tsonga with his "C" game, and with his "B" game it will be a very tough match.

I'm taking Federer, but I'm nervous.

Tsonga losing the 15 lbs. in the short "off-season" makes me wonder if he went ""gluten free"" or something weird and is going to bring his '10 Wimbledon game.

Olderer didn't drop a set so far and most of you think that he will destroy Tsonga in 3! Must be doping...

I reckon Federer will win in 4 - Tsonga is playing well, but Federer seems on top of his game
Here are some ast eight picks and a round-up of the last two days!

That's weak stuff.

Channeling Clarky you should say that Jo will put Fed out of his misery because Fed is useless, has no BH, is weak mentally, is in massive decline and should retire by the end of the year because he ain't making another slam final and is only still playing because he's greedy.

Also Cvac is unbeatable thanks to Dr. Igor and will cruise to the title destroying everyone on the way despite his marathon with Stan.

I said she'd say the opposite, but if you were going to make a Clarky case for Tsonga, you've done a good job here, although she'll probably say you did a horrendous job channeling her anyway.

Well, I'm with you if RF is moving as well as he has for the past few matches.
Jo's serve is large, but if RF is reading it well, he will break enough to win in 3 or 4 sets.

But, there's always the memory of the haunting losses to Jo at the Canadian Open and at Wimbledon. Jo showed a lot of resolve AND physicality in those, even though Rog started well in both.

I wish this were a final or a semi. I am rooting for Roger but I understand this could go either way.

Then Muzz or MC Char-D in the semi. Tough week ahead for either man.

It could go either way, but Fed's a solid favourite. I think the court is still too slow for Tsonga to do major damage, especially at night which is when I think the match will be. Fed knows he's lost to Tsonga, but he also knows he's beaten him more than vice versa. If he's in form Federer wins in 3 I think. He destroyed Tsonga when they played here in 2010, and I think since he's rung off a bunch of wins since his loss to Tsonga at Wimbledon, including the USO he should be fine. Max this goes is 4 sets IMO.

Man you fail at logic so much it's not even funny. What is there to suggest that Federer is going to struggle against Tsonga if he won all of his matches in straight sets (and against decent opponents)? It's called analogy as there's a visible pattern. Whereas with Djokovic he won his first 2 matches rather comfortably, then barely won against Wawrinka in 5 hours yet everyone still predicts him to beat an in-form Berdych in straight sets which is hilarious given how a normal human being organism would react after such exertion.

No matter how you look at it, a casual viewer if asked which player he thinks takes PEDS - Federer or Djokovic would pick Djokovic 99,9% of the time (with the exception of Bob, yourself, 5555 and Djokovic's mother).

/end Clarky impersonation.

Anyway, Federer in 3. His true tests will be Murray and Djokovic I think.

Pretty good considering it's the truth.

Fed played great last night and is moving really well. Not sure I understand why Fed fans are worried.
