Does anybody have experience with this shoe coming apart on the inner side where rubber meets the synthetic leather. I only had mine for 4 weeks and it is starting to come apart. Is this normal ?

I really love this shoes but this last one I got 3 weeks ago is coming apart in the edges where the rubber is Glued to the synthetic leather. Should I call TW and try to return this since this seem like a Defect ?

I have never heard of this happening with Yonex shoes. They don't come with a 6 month warranty; but they do sound defective. I would give TW a call and ask them if they is anything they can do for you or maybe even contact Yonex. Hope someone can help you out. They should last a lot longer then that.

Seems like Yonex is a very high quality shoe, so many people are giving it high compliments here. think i'm gonna order a pair of the blue ones today at $79.99.

How is the area around the ankle, is it soft around the back of collar of the shoe for ankle area, particularly around the back near achilles tendon?

Babolats are too hard back there and it causes pain in the area which kills the shoe IMO.

They are soft and glove like. But Asics Resolution are more cushioned overall.

I have the black and the blue ones, I hope you realize that the blue ones are specifically for clay with the tread design........you certainly can use them on hard court, but they are best on clay. The black, red, and white ones are all better if you plan on the majority of play of hard courts.

my fault on the post where I said the rubber comes apart where it is glued after only 3 weeks. I was wrong. Actually it was after about 2 and 1/2 month of use. playing about 2 times per week on average

Ordered them (blue 30 on Friday from Tenniswarehouse and they just arrived today. Feel incredibly perfect, soft, comfortable. Can't wait to play in them. Really impressed by Yonex products. Seriously considering shifting from Volkl racquets to Yonex.

Right, also the shoe will enable you to jump about 1.5 feet higher than you normally do due to its Power Cushion.
