No, he played very well in the Seppi match too, that's more than 1 match.

Ever since Lendl put Murray on an alcohol free diet, he's been a different player.

Where was the alcohol coming from? He doesn’t drink to start with.

It's a joke - play on gluten free diet and alcohol/Scottish association.
The joke's kind of spoilt now I've had to explain it.

I wish they could swap. Murray always beats Tsonga!

Ferrer deserves his place. The others should never have given up the day job.
Hey, Dad, how many majors did you win? Uh, none. How can the rest of the field be so bad they can't win anything beyond a 1000? They all need to hire a sports psychologist or do something else.

The AO is the one place you might get an upset, but anyone outside the top four is just a waste of money if you are betting. I wouldn't put a dime on any of them.

At least Ferrer knows how to move, unlike Isner, Raonic etc and he is not a mental reject unlike, well you know who. Tomic getting to the final, that is just a joke.maybe they could ask Goran to leave the seniors and entertain us for a bit.

Seppi was tired! As much as Simon were against Murray.

By that standard, Chardy was tired too. He played a long 5 setter vs Delpo. Not that I expect an upset mind you. I fully expect Murray to win, probably in straights. Still, I was impressed with Chardy's level and consistency.

Cillic x Seppi was way more tougher. And I was watching both games at the same time.

And Chardy wasnt that consistent... someone who lost sets to Gruntollers (you should see his forehands in that match) and Menendez-Maciera isn't that consistent.

I'm talking about the Delpo match and the Seppi one. Those are the only 2 I saw.

That match was off his normal. He can be like that, like he was against Murray in cincy last year. But he can almost choke a match against Lamine Ouahab.

Well, he may never have another shot at a slam SF, so I hope he doesn't choke it.

My head says Murray in 4, but I think we're due for another upset from a redlining Frenchman and my heart wants a non top-4 (seed) in the semis. Also, Jeremy seems like an affable fellow.

Chardy in 4! Feel free to mock me later.

I don't see this as competitive as you do, but Chardy has some tools. If he's on, in the quicker day conditions, he might do something. I think it'll hurt him that the outer courts are quicker than RLA. But we'll see. I think he's got a shot. It's a tiny one, but it's a shot.

The upset is possible. Not likely obviously, but IMO more likely than Jo upsetting Fed on this surface.

I expect Murray to win most of the baseline rallies but Jérémy will probably try to be aggressive especially on the return. If Murray's 1st serve percentage is low, Chardy can trouble him with deep and hard returns. Combine that with a good serving day, Jérémy could be dangerous.

In this case, it will come down to how Jérémy handles the pressure if he takes the lead. From what I heard, he was pretty solid against Delpo, so it's not unthinkable.

But that's a lot of ifs, obviously.

How much more Chardy has in the tank after playing 5 setter and then 4 setter?

Just hoping and praying at least he can take Murray to another 5 set....

The key really is: Murray's 1st serve %.

If it's low, Chardy has somewhat of a chance... but he needs sustained ballstriking....

Not to mention his own serve...
