Saw this very very old wooden racquet on sale at antigue store for $29.99, looks like a relic from 30s or even 20s. Very old wood racquet which looks like it would snap in half in the first five minutes of hitting. Does anybody know anything about this thing?

I don't have an answer for you, but does that racquet look anything like the second frame from the right in post #16?
http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=441776 If so, then there is at least a fair chance that it's an early soft tennis racquet, which I didn't know existed until that discussion took place. Did you get it? |
