Pretty good win for Texas over Washington. 6-1 is a convincing scoreline.

It really hurts to see #23 next to Texas.

No fight vs USC. We didn't even win a set.
Center needs to give this team a kick up the rear. Wait he can't do that because his time should be over.

It's very eye-opening to see these lopsided scores. It's either that this team dosen't have the talent or they don't have the fight. I do not believe the talent is that far behind I just think they don't bring it.
The line-up is a mess. It should be Hess-Olesen Naumann Sitaram Whitehead Glasspool Korinek/Swaysland Holiner should not see the court for a while. I mean #6 is Pepperdine's weakness.

Is it also possible that they were just beaten by a much better team? I'm not saying that they aren't playing up to ability levels, but I've said before that Pepperdine 1-4 is as good as anyone. Sarkissian at 2 is the real deal and although unranked now, Tearney was in the 30's last year and Alcantra at 4 was Fresno's #1 last year. Sofaer at 6 is significantly improved. What's a mystery for Pepperdine is what has happened to Mousheg at 5. He seems to have checked out.

Here's the thing man. We are TEXAS. TEXAS! Not Texas Tech or TCU or Baylor but TEXAS. TEXAS.

Isn't tennis and grinding kinda synonymous these days?

Geez, a year ago we were thinking we had Harrison Adams locked up and everyone could move down and UT could be a top 10 program, now it's looking kind of rough.

I wonder how Jean Andersen and Vlad Mladenov are feeling these days after abandoning the Longhorns.

Hard to say. Maybe they for any number of reasons are happy they're gone. Do you know why they left?

It feels like it's been about 3 years since Texas has played a match.

Where is Center? I want him to explain how he will make this team get a big win.

Where is he?? Where is Michael Center? He needs to answer for this debacle.
Our top 3 folded after winning the first set? Unacceptable. If it was SMU it would be unacceptable, let alone Texas.
