I hope she plays at this level and Serena plays just a little better for an epic quality final. I'm going to start visualizing it now.
Negative. If Sharapova plays twice as well as she did against Venus, she will still not win a game off Serena - even if Serena is having an off day.

No, but these visions come to me when I least expect it. I saw her--maria making her speech after accepting the aussie open trophy last night.

Well her chances went from about 5% to 40% tonight alone as she was never winning while Serena was in the draw. I would still say Azarenka is the slight favorite though.

percentage or favorite has no role when you have the future in your head and dreams.

I would bet a substantial amount of money that LI Na will beat Sharapova, Li Na is one of the very few women on tour that moves well, plays proper tennis with proper strokes, and hits the ball PURE...

Very similar to Clijsters....Not sure if she'll beat Azarenka, but Sharapova will be easy for her.

This will be the first time she meets someone at or above her level...finally.

If only Serena had just as easy a draw. Ugh.

That does it then. She now has no chance of winning AO.

So much for all the hype about Maria being the one to beat.

She looked great in the previous rounds because she had an easy draw.
