Murray was fantastic.
Sorry to break it to you but that can sometimes be the reason Murray wins matches.
Going to be a great semi final with Fed.

I didn't even needed to watch the match... that beatdown was so predictable that wasn't even fun to mock some friends who was seriously arguing that Chardy had actual chances.

It's odd that all 4 seeds are in the semifinals...

Could Muzza finally win the AO? Will he finally beat Roger at a slam? Will third final be the charm?

It wouldn't have been a beatdown if Murray hadn't raised his game.

Yep. He came in on a stretcher and limped around the court with his racquet in one hand and a walking stick in the other!

This is what he had to say after the match:

"I played a good match, but he was too good for me," said Chardy. "I thought I tried many things, but there was no chance for me. He was too good. I played a good tournament, so I'm still happy. But it's tough to lose with no solution."

(PS. Don't whisper it too loud, but it is actually possible for Murray to win a match because he is actually the better player!)

Reading this thread gave me cancer.

Hopefully Fedor can restore my health by outplaying The Amazing Haggis for the 10000th time in a Grand Slam.

guys, i'm a bit ashamed to admit i never thought about this possibility.
this notion sounds so... ummm not sure about the word... something between unreal and counter-intuitive.
i guess i have to think out of the box a bit more...
