I was very nostalgic today thinking about SMC. My spidey sense tells me that 2014 will be the last year of the flight. While I am getting a bit bored of SMC/Murray/C-vak pairings, the opportunity to stay up and watch the GOAT show his wares on the other side of the planet in the great Rod Laver's palace should not be taken for granted. The whole 2nd paragraph is QFT-worthy except the assertion that '14 will be the Eagle's swan song...I fully believe he will play thru Rio'16 as he has been quoted on numerous occassions. Assuming SexiTennis is still eighth-ranked or better then, he will play USO and WTF and leave us a huge void afterwards. I can't think how it will be filled but I hope to find out how by then.

The real question here is why does the rest of the world misspell poast and poape? Probably because the call of the BOTE has not yet reached them. They are not blessed with the gift that the Eagle truly is.
