or he's just not one of their best 6 players right now - certainly a possibility

guy is a great recruit and will do lots of good in his four years - but i'm not willing to say he's definitively better than hemmeler or tahir right now

Bruins cruise though no shutout - Dennis Novikov goes down at 3 and Clay Thompson eeks out a 3rd set supertiebreak.

Well after looking at their academic calendar, classes have already started, and they've already played Elon and Charlotte. Semenzato appeared in neither, but they played 8 singles positions. Levine and McCall were #7 and #8. I'm guessing he may be injured.

Georgia needs to play Ball State so there can be the battle of Austin Smith's at #5.

It would be big for OU if Alvarez can finish off this tiebreak. Looks like all the pressure could be on a MacTaggart/Alcorta 3rd set.

Before today I would have said Oklahoma but after the way they struggled against Indiana who knows. I like Oklahoma at 4 and 6 singles and Kentucky at 2 and 5. I think 1 and 3 are both tossups. Could be one of those matches that goes 4-3 with the team taking doubles getting the win.

USC squeaks out the doubles point against Texas by breaking at 3 to win 8-6. Gomez and Johnson got destroyed at 2 losing 8-1. Sarmiento and Hanfmann won 8-6 at 1.

Oklahoma squeak it out which they just deserved, not sure if they played down or IU played up but it was close on 4 courts and IU took the dubs. Again IU's freshman Sam Monette impressed me. I think he will be a very solid player down the road.

How about Stanford whippin' up on BYU 7-0. 4 of the 6 singles were straight sets and the closest doubles was 8-5. BYU gave UCLA a somewhat decent match a week ago.

Having now seen Indiana play UK and OK I think Kentucky were marginally better but that doesnt really mean much. It will be close and Id be surprised if both stay top 10 all season.
