You could try Goodwill. I remember picking up alot of great tennis gear there for cheap ($3-$6).

As much as I would love to save a few bucks, quality does matter to me... that being said, quality does not have to = $
Clothing of choice now are adidas clima tees- picked up a bunch for around $15 on sale. Shirts are light, thin, soft, moisture wicking, and fit well (not baggy) with sleeves that are not too long. Solid colors + no collar means I can use them for any sport... bball, working out, base-layer for skiing, etc. Cotton tshirts are probably the worst option of all, esp in the heat. |

i actually prefer the feel of cotton to synthetics, soaked or otherwise. i feel most synthetics trap heat too much and the material seems to get warm in the direct sunlight.
maybe the newer synthetics are better. i don't know. to each their own i suppose.

Yes, they've come a long way. I only used to wear cotton but in the last two years have switched to synthetics for sport.
