His resume video made the homepage of Yahoo!, so he's world famous now. I can't wait to read his rebuttal to all this. |

I would be surprised if that serve hits 100. No way you get to 140 with that kind of casual swing and racket speed.

Google his name, there is a lot of info on him. Basically everything he said was pretty much fake. I think his resume was like 12 pages where he says he is the CEO of a couple of companies and wrote a published book.

Thank you for posting this! Apparently this has been in the news over the past week, but I missed it. May I say ALEKSEY VAYNER IS AWESOME!! He carries the same nice loose extension to his life story as his nice loose follow-through on the forehand!! No wonder some marketing executive commented that they would take him onboard anytime "sight unseen"... Whether or not he can handle nuclear waste with his bare hands, I think he's awesome and has bright future!!

Now an imitator of Alexy Vayner....
"Impossible is the opposite of Possible".... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAV0s...elated&search= For those that haven't seen the original (and his 140mph serve, etc)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7pok0TKDU8 Last edited by winks : 01-17-2007 at 04:16 AM. |

Not bad, but not 140mph. No. Not even close.
As far as the extension goes, my patience was running thin with his commentary. Way too long. I relate things to tennis, yes, but come on! Don't tell me your whole life's story!

This guy is so inspiring. I'm a student in law about to pass his bar exam but my true passion has always been raisins. But people all around me have always told me it's impossible to make a living making raisins (especially in Canada where it's frozen 8 months a year) but after seeing this video... impossible is nothing.
So I'm going to quit right now my law degree and start making raisins. Thanks you Aleksey Vayner PS: I'm a 3.0 player but I'm planning to be a 5.5 in 3 months |

Aleksey is dead at age 29. Apparently, committed a drug overdose suicide at his Rego Park apartment last weekend and was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital later that morning, cause of death not yet officially released.
I am truly shocked, to be honest. Six years ago I was among the many of us who found his embellishments story amusing, when it hit the news, but I really thought he was genuinely gifted in many ways and would go places. I envied his boldness. He was a good tennis player and his private tennis students appreciated him. I cannot believe the negative internet fame ultimately crushed his spirit. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-overdose.html
