It was fortunate that with the limited colors available for the ID vapors that I could make a pretty accurate "Gator" version. The blue and orange are very close to the UF blue and orange, and the grey makes a good neutral background. The standard release orange and white ones that are coming soon would be good UT shoes. They look pretty nice, although I am not crazy about white soles on any type of athletic shoe.

   They look kind of pink in the pictures, but that's becuase of the stupid iPhone camera. They are a deep red, and look amazing!

love it, just wish they can add the sl option imo. usually, my vapors forefoot mesh is ripping apart.

One thing these pics of IDs makes me realise is how important it is to have laces the same colour at the tongue - or at worst a colour which isn't as high contrast like the ones posted.. No offence to the pics posted above but the laces are the weak link in both of those designs aesthetically.
If only you could chose an alternate colour for the tongue these shoes would have so much more potential to be awesome.

Answers to questions/comments..... The blue is really a royal blue, perhaps even a little darker than royal in person (was probably the flash that made it look lighter). About the laces... Yes, I don't disagree. There is a huge Nike outlet near my house. I will buy both royal blue and grey laces there (easy to find, unlike orange laces). I played around with the laces when I was picking the design, and yes, laces that match the body/tongue color look good. I just picked the color laces that I can't buy easily. And, in person, the orange looks good. For what these cost, they should let you have 2-3 pairs of laces when you order them. Just a thought.
