Hi Equijet. Thanks for your reply. (I always enjoy your posts, especially the ones in which you share your rare frames.)

This HPS 6.1 paintjob certainly seems like a rare one.

I'd love to see an actual photo of this PJ. If anyone would be able to obtain one, I trust it would be you. In the event you do get your hands one, please do share with all of us.

Thanks again for your input.

Here you go

OK I admit, it is my HPS6.0 95 with the HPS6.1 paintjob (with silver "w"s), but the nearest most of us are going to get to this Federer early 2002 paintjob/racket style combo I should think, as it does look like Federer's racket. If you look at it quickly, it could be an 85!

Unfortunately though it is a 95, and it must be some sort of Pro paintjob, I've never seen another.

Excellent! This is the closest example of an actual HPS 6.1 with silver W PJ on a 6.0 (albeit on a PS 95) that I was referring to.

This frame with the "6.1" imprinted on the side with the silver W is really difficult to find. Awesome, Jimbo!

Thanks for sharing with all of us.

(On a side thought, I still don't get why Wilson had Federer sponsor the HPS 6.1 95 PJ for such a short while, then went with the HPS 6.0. Anyone have any input/guesses?)

Yes, it is very strange that he used this paintjob for such a short period of time, I just can't think of a reason why. Maybe Wilson just needed someone up and coming like him to advertise the 6.1, then they realised other players were actually using the 6.1, so they put the 6.0 on Federer's racket instead, so he could promote that? Just a theory. I'd like to know the actual reason as well!

Seriously though what a great paintjob this racket has! I also really like the way this racket plays, hits brilliant slices (not on it's own obviously...), and you can't beat a good box beam to fluke it over the net at just the right time in a match!

I thought for ages about getting my own ones of them with the k factor paintjob on but wasn't ever a huge fan of the colour schemeso didn't keep it.
The matt colour looks so nice.
